Constellation Network has introduced Digital Evidence, a tamper-proof compliance solution designed for law enforcement and emergency services. The product builds on Constellation’s six years of work with the U.S. Department of Defense and its Iron SPIDR project, which secured critical mission communications. Digital Evidence will use blockchain technology to create and secure immutable records, ensuring data integrity for legal and compliance purposes. Law enforcement agencies and other organizations can use it to streamline evidence collection and reporting, reducing the time and costs associated with compliance cases. The public sector alone spends over $3.6 billion annually on compliance-related legal defense, according to a note shared with crypto.news. The system collects data from police vehicles, fire trucks, EMS systems, and other onboard devices, generating immutable records that can be presented as court-admissible evidence. Constellation is working with Panasonic to deploy the solution through its TOUGHBOOK platform, which is widely used in public safety sectors. The company is also exploring pilot use cases in AI datasets, retail analytics with Dor Technologies, and intellectual property protection.
