What to do when payment is made but order is cancelled on Bitget P2P?
When you buy crypto on Bitget P2P, payment is made but order is cancelled. What to do now?
If you have transferred money to the seller but the order is timed out or cancelled, but payment is already done, follow these steps.
To protect your funds, immediately go to "my orders" page and select your canceled order.
Then scroll down and click "order inquiry". There will be the following 2 options.
Choose the option "Payment completed, but the order was cancelled".
Here, choose "Method 1" immediately, to place an order of the same amount with the same merchant.
But if the merchant is offline and you cannot place an order with him for any reason, then immediately choose "Method 2" and file a claim.
Assuming the merchant is online, then you choose "Method 1", click "next" and place a new order of the same amount which you have already transferred.
Do not forget to click "paid" to ensure order doesn't get cancelled again.
Your new order is confirmed and let's wait for the seller to respond and release USDT to you.
In the meantime, you can also upload your previous payment proof in the chatbox.
If you don't receive your USDT or any response from the merchant, you can submit an appeal in the ongoing order.
When you have paid but the order is cancelled, you have to act immediately and promptly. Any delay or mistake from your side could cause permanent fund loss.
