XRP Ledger Wallet Xumm: Samsung Mobile Operating System Update Has Impact on Wallet Security Data Storage
Xumm, the XRP Ledger wallet, has issued an official announcement stating that the Samsung operating system update released on October 12th has damaged the secure data storage of Xumm Wallet, causing the app to be unable to open again after the update, especially for Samsung Galaxy S21 users.
Therefore, Xumm Wallet reminds users not to deploy the update on Galaxy S21 devices, and to check if they have the key, as users may need to uninstall the original wallet app and reinstall it after the update, and then use the key to import their account. Xumm clarified that its wallet app does not pose any security risks, but the problem lies with the Samsung device update, which prevents access to secure data storage.
