Emilio Ocampo rejects appointment as Argentine central bank governor

Emilio Ocampo advocates for using the US dollar instead of the Argentine peso. Javier Milei's camp believes that the Argentine economy is too weak to do so at present. Javier Milei's office emphasized that there is no room for negotiation in closing the central bank, and refuted various rumors, but did not mention the issue of dollarization.
