GMEE Token launches repair plan, token claiming on Ethereum will start in February
The GMEE Token represents that the unauthorized access to the GMEE token contract on Polygon has resulted in a fund theft incident limited to the Polygon network. Due to efforts to identify and freeze the funds, trading of GMEE on Gate.io remains suspended. The GMEE transactions on Ethereum are currently unaffected.
In addition, the GMEE Token indicates that a repair plan is being initiated, isolating all GMEE tokens on Polygon to protect its community. Token claiming on Ethereum will be open to all Polygon GMEE holders (excluding hackers and related addresses) starting in February.
