Immutable partners with Polygon to launch zkEVM mainnet, which will be available to the public in the coming weeks
Web3 game developer platform Immutable has partnered with Polygon to launch the Immutable zkEVM mainnet in beta mode, for selected game studios and ecosystem partners to join. The network uses zkRollup technology and is compatible with Ethereum applications, running separately from the project's existing StarkEx-based Layer 2 chain and will be open to the public in the coming weeks. Immutable said that games including Guild of Guardians, Metalcore, sharbound, Treeverse, Cool Cats, BADMAD Robots, Space Nation, Eyeball Games, and Imaginary Ones will be the first to be released on Immutable zkEVM.
