Bitcoin L2 developer Alpen Labs has completed a $10.6 million seed round of financing, led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from Castle Island Ventures, Robot Ventures, and Axiom Capital.Alpen Labs is seeking to extend the world's largest cryptocurrency blockchain through zero-knowledge proof, and spent a lot of time last year developing Bitcoin Rollup infrastructure to introduce smart contract functionality to the network.
