12 Solana Presale Meme Coins Abandoned in a Month: Crypto Sleuth

In a recent report, crypto sleuth ZachXBT unearthed that almost 12 Solana presale meme coins have been abandoned over the month after raising a total of 180,650 SOL worth about $26.7 million. While many of the meme coin projects have plunged following the launch, one of them hasn’t even launched a token.

Reportedly, the X account known as @Pokeepandaa raised the highest amount of SOL to launch the LIKE token. Despite raising a staggering 52,220 SOL worth approximately $7.7 million at the current price, the token plunged by more than 90% in the first 8 hours.

The second-largest abandoned presale is reportedly for a Solana meme coin with the ticker MOONKE. An X user, @RockyXBT, raised 37,470 SOL to launch the MOONKE token. However, the meme coin plummeted by nearly 100%.

Third on the list is @Pepecasso1’s FROG token, which was abandoned after raising a notable 29,761 SOL token. Adding to the intrigue, an X user known as @Jared_eth, who raised 4,567 SOL tokens, apparently hasn’t launched a token.

In a March 19 X post, ZachXBT shared insights on the 27 meme coin presales on Solana since March 12. As per the sleuth, the total fund raised for the presale is estimated to be 655,000 SOL, which was worth $122.5 million around that time.

Meanwhile, the largest Solan-based meme coin by market cap, dogwifhat (WIF), has exhibited a slight dip of 2.9% in the last 24 hours. Similarly, BOOK OF MEME (BOME), another popular meme coin on Solana, has also fallen by 2.3% over the last day.

At the same time, other leading Solana-based meme coins like BONK and MEW have surged substantially in one week. While BONK has grown by over 33% in the last 7 days, MEW has surged by more than 15% in the same period.
