Google has released dozens of products combining Google and AI, including Project Astra, which is comparable to GPT-4
On May 15th, during the keynote speech at Google I/O Developer Conference, Google CEO Sundar Pichai launched dozens of products combining Google and AI. These are considered "all-in-one" level products, fully competing with OpenAI. They include Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash that support long texts of up to two million tokens, Veo which is a Google version of Sora technology, Gemma 2 which is the most powerful open-source model, AI Overviews that supports generative search, and the sixth generation TPU among others. However, what attracted the most attention was Project Astra - a universal assistant project truly leading to AGI announced by Demis Hassabis who is both DeepMind's CEO and in charge of Google AI; as well as NotebookLM for voice recognition directly targeting GPT-4o.
