IoTeX chief scientist published a paper on accelerating ZKP algorithms, which will first be applied to its computing module W3bstream
According to ChainCatcher, Xinxin Fan, chief scientist of the IoTeX research team, published a paper on accelerating the ZKP (zero-knowledge proof) algorithm in IACR (International Association for Cryptography Research), proposing a solution to improve the performance of the ZK-SNARK system by 20% to 40%, which can be applied to all ZK-SNARK systems. The paper was included in the ZK Newsletter and selected as Top Picks alongside Vitalik's latest article. The IoTeX research team said that the solution has made a breakthrough in the field of zero-knowledge proof.
The solution in the paper on improving the performance of the ZK-SNARK system with the MSM algorithm will first be applied in the off-chain data computing module W3bstream of the IoTeX ecosystem, providing proof support for physical devices and off-chain data, allowing the DePIN project to be more conveniently built on the chain.
