Global Ethereum ETPs outperformed Bitcoin ETPs in the past week
Global Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs) have outperformed Bitcoin ETPs in the past week, ahead of the expected launch of the first Ethereum spot ETF in the US on July 2. Data shows that Ethereum ETPs have seen four consecutive weeks of net inflows, totaling 86,472 ETH, while Bitcoin ETPs have seen net outflows of 12,523 BTC. Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, pointed out that investors should consider diversifying their portfolios and increasing exposure to Ethereum spot ETFs to capture more blockchain use cases. It is expected that eight companies, including BlackRock and Fidelity, will push for the approval of Ethereum spot ETFs in the final review process.
