Matter Labs Introduces ZKsync 3.0 Roadmap with Elastic Chain for Interconnected Ecosystem
Matter Labs, the developer of ZKsync, has unveiled a new roadmap called ZKsync 3.0, which includes an "Elastic Chain" that resembles Polygon's AggLayer. The upgrade, released on June 7, turns ZKsync from a single ZK chain into an Elastic Chain composed of multiple chains in the ZKsync ecosystem. The Elastic Chain will allow for interoperability between different chains in the ZKsync ecosystem and will be composed of three core components: the Native Token Vault, Shared Router, and ZK Gateway. The aim is to make interoperability within different ecosystems more seamless for users.
