Dfinity launches new ICP-based platform to address cybersecurity issues
The Dfinity Foundation has launched a new platform based on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) called Utopia, which aims to replace traditional network security measures. The platform is designed as a private, serverless cloud infrastructure for government entities and enterprise organizations. Utopia will enable secure operation of artificial intelligence (AI), allow for local management of digital assets, and "allow governments to gain sovereignty." Utopia aims to address the increasing network threats by creating "large-scale enterprise computing" that can prevent unauthorized access, function changes, data leaks, and ransomware installation.
