SBI Partners with South Korea’s Kyobo for Tokenization
SBI Group in Japan is collaborating with Kyobo Life Insurance Group in South Korea to explore business opportunities related to digital finance and technology. As the collaboration has just begun, besides mentioning tokenization and security tokens specifically, the announcement did not provide detailed information. SBI and Kyobo have established a venture capital fund partnership covering the Southeast Asian fintech sector.Under the latest agreement, SBI may participate in the Korean ecosystem and consortium related to security token offerings (STOs). In addition, both parties will share technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
