X platform may add support for multiple Grok model functions, including chatbot side panel

Odaily News Independent application researcher Nima Owji recently revealed that social platform X is developing new features based on the xAI Grok model, including a chatbot side panel, account summary, and highlighted text search to enhance the X Premium subscription user experience. Nima Owji confirmed to foreign media TechCrunch that these features are not yet open to the public. The new features that the X platform is developing are aimed at increasing the attractiveness of X Premium paid subscriptions, which are seen as an important source of revenue for the X platform in addition to advertising. According to data from the analysis agency Appfigures, the X platforms revenue after commission on mobile terminals in May this year was only US$7.6 million, a decline for two consecutive months.
