Capcom announces its full line-up for Gamescom Asia

Capcom has officially announced its Gamescom Asia full line-up, with Monster Hunter Wilds set to dominate. Fans in Southeast Asia, for the first time, will have an opportunity to play this highly expected game, signaling an important moment for the gaming community in this region.

Capcom was one of the first to confirm its participation at the Gamescom Asia held this year. The company has now detailed a diverse range of titles that will be available during the actual event for the attendees to experience.

Capcom brings a variety of games to Gamescom Asia

Besides the Monster Hunter Wilds, a collection of several other key titles will be included in the

Capcom’s booth. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, the famous zombie survival game with improved visuals and gameplay will be among them. Also, there will be the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection:  Arcade Classics, a selection of some of the most iconic arcade titles for fighting game enthusiasts.

Additionally, the Street Fighter 6 will be presented with a particular focus on the new Terry Bogard DLC. To the fans of this series, there will be an early look at the DLC which will add more excitement to the presence of Capcom at the event. Furthermore, the attendees will have a chance to explore the mysterious universe of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a title that promises to offer a mixture of action and narrative gameplay.

Gamescom Asia will not only involve showing off games at Capcom’s booth, but it will also become the stage for the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Singapore. This International Street Fighter 6 tournament is set to bring the best competitors who will fight to enter the Capcom Cup 11 to be held in Japan. The champion of this prestigious tournament will get a whopping prize money of $1 million, making it one of the events that fans look forward to during Gamescom Asia.

Shawn Layden shares industry insights at Gamescom Asia

In addition to the entertainment, Gamescom Asia will also include a business conference where attendees can learn some useful knowledge. Among many other featured speakers, the former executive at Sony Interactive Entertainment, Shawn Layden is promisingly one of the participants as a speaker, who is set to headline the conference with a fireside chat. Layden will voice his thoughts on the developments of the game sector and give forecasts and strategies that will suit both professionals and enthusiasts.

Gamescom Asia is scheduled to take place in Singapore from October 17 to 20 and combines both business and public exhibitions as well as the industry conference and various programs open to the public. This event is expected to attract more than 150 exhibitors and 40,000-plus visitors, making it one of the primary events in the gaming industry of the region.
