Bridgewater Fund Founder: Neither Trump nor Harris is the president America needs
Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio stated that the 2024 U.S. election could be the most important of his lifetime, and he believes the country needs a "strong centrist leader." On Thursday, in an interview, Dalio explained that America should strive for "broad prosperity," and presidential elections highlight the challenges faced by society's smooth operation. When asked which presidential candidate he supports, Dalio said "none of them are what the country needs." He said: "What the country needs is a centrist who can unite and work together to achieve great reforms; what it needs is broad prosperity."
