The Open League: S6 event is paused for 2 weeks, restart time to be determined, fully preparing for a large-scale airdrop event related to TON ecosystem
The Open League of TON Ecosystem announced on its official Telegram channel that "The Open League S6 event is temporarily suspended". It stated: "We have decided to take a break in this event, including the project leaderboard (App, DeFi, NFT) and Normie & Degen airdrop activities. The suspension will start at 9 am UTC time on September 20th. The hiatus will last for about two weeks, and the restart date will be announced in advance. Once we restart, the S6 event will continue to run for 3 weeks to complete the planned 4-week cycle."
It is understood that the reason for suspending the activity is because officials believe that the biggest airdrop in Web3 is coming soon. Hamster Kombat, Catizen, WatBird (Gamee), and other major TON applications are going to distribute rewards to hundreds of millions of users demonstrating true decentralization of Web3. To ensure smooth transactions and accurately track related airdrop activities, they decided it was best for their system to take a breather.
Finally, here are some key points summarized by officials:
▪️All user activities during week one of season six will be recorded; nothing will be lost.
▪️Casting Normie and Degen badges also pauses but can be requested after we restart.
▪️Projects within App、DeFi、and NFT alliances should avoid large-scale events until further notice.
Further updates would follow later.
