SHIB’s Shiba Eternity Game Enters Web3 in Complete Revamp
- Shiba Inu Games developers complete Shiba Eternity’s Web3 overhaul.
- The revamped version is now available for download at Play With SHIB.
- Answering the feedback, devs erase major bugs with a forced update.
The recent price dip in Shiba Inu didn’t stop the vibrant SHIB holder community from advancing forward. While the general cryptocurrency markets are yet to shake off the bearish tone, Play With SHIB, the official gaming subsidiary of SHIB, has introduced the blockchain version of the Shiba Eternity mobile card game.
How to Get Your Paws on Shiba Eternity
Namely, the first Web3 version of Shiba Inu’s iconic card battle prioritizes the holders of Sheboshis, Shiboshis , and Shiba Eternity Lore NFT owners. These digital collectible sets serve as keys to unlock the Web3 NFT Beta version of the game, which can be downloaded from the link provided in the official tweet by Play With SHIB.
The new version of Shiba Eternity includes a flurry of major bug fixes. According to SHIB Magazine, the developers at Shiba Inu Games took the community’s feedback on the game’s initial version seriously, admitting that some bugs “could ruin your whole game session and leave you questioning your life choices.”
What’s Been Fixed in Shiba Eternity P2E?
Firstly, some Shiba Eternity players reported login issues and pesky animation glitches, which have been sorted out. Another critical issue is the loss of in-game rewards if your opponent decides to bail on you in the middle of a fight in the Dogjo.
Shiba Inu’s developers have issued a force update feature to fix this and the game freeze incidents. Ultimately, this means that mismatched versions of SHIB’s collectible card game won’t cause any trouble for the players, ensuring smooth gameplay.
Built around the SHIB Army’s feedback, the new Web3 Beta version offers a more complex storyline and bi-weekly tournaments rewarding the best players with real crypto prizes. Next up, Shiba Eternity’s in-game shop will offer one-of-a-kind power-ups, merch, and all sorts of Shiba Inu-themed goodies.
On the Flipside
- The Web3 version is currently only available in-browser and as an APK file, meaning iPhone & iPad users will have to wait longer.
- Currently limited to Shiboshis, Sheboshis, Shiba Eternity Lore NFT & LEASH holders, the open-for-all version is due for release in Q4.
Why This Matters
Shiba Inu’s blockchain game is revitalizing the crypto gaming niche, which has endured difficult times since the NFT hype faded in 2022.
