Trust Security: LayerZero has similar vulnerabilities as Across Protocol
On October 22nd, Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero, posted a message on X platform calling out the Across Protocol team, stating that their protocol contract has vulnerabilities that allow the contract owner to withdraw tokens from any address or zero out the balance of any account.
This morning, third-party security company Trust Security used almost identical language to call out the LayerZero team, stating that their protocol contract also has similar vulnerabilities, allowing the contract owner to withdraw tokens from any address or deplete any Stargate pool.
It is worth noting that when calling out Across Protocol, Bryan mentioned that the team should reward LayerZero based on their bug bounty program, and Trust Security also called out Bryan, stating that LayerZero's bug bounty program claims to provide 10% of risk capital as a reward, so LayerZero should give Trust Security a bonus of over $400 million or publicly admit to defaming other projects for traffic purposes.
