OpenAI considers removing AGI clause to unlock investment potential
The Financial Times of London has reported that OpenAI is in talks with Microsoft to abandon the AGI clause. It is reported that the previous contract between the two companies included a clause that stipulated that if OpenAI developed general artificial intelligence (AGI): a key goal in the field of artificial intelligence that is similar in ability to human brains, Microsoft would lose the right to use OpenAI technology.
