Pudgy Penguins x Mythical Games’ NFT Game Is Coming In 2025

Pudgy Penguins, the brand development firm behind the popular Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgy non-fungible tokens, and next-generation gaming technology studio, Mythical Games, have confirmed plans to launch their highly awaited web3-enabled mobile video NFT game. The Pudgy Penguins x Mythical Games development team will unveil their much anticipated NFT game this coming New Year 2025, after more than six months of incubation.

Penguins & Mythical Games’ NFT Game Is Coming In 2025

In a December 15 blog post, Mythical Games confirmed plans to launch their NFT-based game in partnership with the Pudgy Penguins creator, Igloo this coming new year after over six months of incubation. The Mythical Games and Pudgy Penguins Company announced their collaboration in May 2024. While commenting about the collaboration at the time, Mr. Luca Netz, the CEO of Pudgy Penguins, remarked:

“When we decided to create a mobile-first AAA blockchain-based Pudgy Penguins game, working with Mythical Games was something that excited me. Our growth strategy that has reached millions, combined with Mythical Games’ experience and success with gaming, sets up this endeavour for success. We can’t wait to show the Pudgy Penguins community what’s in store and solicit their feedback as development ramps up.”

Launched in 2021, Mythical Games is a next-generation game company creating world-class games and empowering players to take ownership of their in-game assets through the use of blockchain technology. Since its inception, the team has developed many games, including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, EA Madden, Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery, and Marvel Strike Force.

On the other hand, Igloo is a digital asset incubation studio focusing on NFT management and cartoon toy selling. The digital asset firm is renowned for its Pudgy Penguins, a non-fungible token collection that features a limited edition of 8,888 NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. Igloo is also the team behind the popular Pudgy Rods and Lil Pudgy NFT collections.

Other Mythical Games’ NFT Games In 2025

Last month, the Mythical Games partnered with FIFA, an international body responsible for organizing and promoting football’s major international tournaments, to create its new non-fungible game called the FIFA Rivals game. The free-to-play FIFA Rivals game will launch on iOS and Android in the summer of 2025, though an exact release date remains undisclosed.
