11.25 million LINK were unlocked and transferred out from Chainlink's 3 non-circulating supply addresses, equivalent to approximately 258.14 million US dollars
According to on-chain analysts, the quarterly unlocking of Chainlink took place 3 hours ago: 11.25 million LINK ($258.14 million) were unlocked and transferred out from three non-circulating supply addresses of Chainlink.
Of these, 10.625 million LINK ($243.82 million) was transferred to Binance, and 625 thousand LINK ($14.32 million) went to the multi-signature address 0xD50...8Af.
Every three months, about 10-20 million LINK are unlocked from Chainlink's non-circulating supply addresses. Most of this is directly transferred into CEX, with a small portion going to the address 0xD50...8Af (some of the LINK that goes to this address enters a contract for distributing staking rewards).
Since 2022, approximately 144.65 million LINK ($1.548 billion) have been unlocked in this way and flowed into CEX at an average price of $10.7 per token transfered out . Despite large amounts of LINK being unlocked quarterly and flowing into CEX, there has not been any significant impact on the price each time after transferring into CEX.
