Solana Co-Founder Sued by Ex-Wife Over Staked SOL Rewards
Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge has been sued by his ex-wife over millions of dollars worth of staking SOL rewards.
The lawsuit was filed on December 24 in San Francisco’s Superior Court.

Ex-Wife Accuses Solana Co-Founder of Profiting from SOL
Rossi alleges that during their divorce in March, the couple agreed to split their joint assets, including their Solana holdings. However, she claims that Akridge took advantage of her lack of crypto expertise. So, he continues profiting from her SOL tokens after the divorce.
According to the complaint, Akridge gave Rossi’s Solana wallet authority over three accounts that held the tokens. But, secretly kept control of the staking process. This allowed him to continue earning millions of dollars in staking rewards from Rossi’s tokens. Until she discovered the deception in May 2024.

Akridge Allegedly Shows No Remorse for Staking Rewards Dispute
