Since November last year, the total amount of BTC transferred to exchanges and the outflow from miners has significantly decreased
The inflow of BTC to exchanges (total amount of BTC transferred to exchanges) and miner outflows (amount of BTC sent by miners to exchanges) have significantly decreased since November 2024, indicating a reduction in selling pressure. According to CryptoQuant data, after experiencing about two months of peak exchange inflow activity, the exchange's BTC inflow reached its peak on November 25th with 98,748 BTC. In December 2024, the exchange inflows declined with the total number of bitcoins sent to exchanges daily ranging between 11,000 and 79,000. The decrease in exchange inflows is accompanied by a decrease in miner outflows suggesting reduced selling pressure from Bitcoin miners who often sell their holdings to cover operational costs.
