Solana meme coin UFD founder's wallet was hacked, losing about $6.6 million in assets

On January 30th, Unicornpartdust (UFD) token founder Ron Branstetter announced in an emergency live broadcast that his Phantom wallet was hacked and approximately $6.6 million worth of UFD tokens and Solana were stolen. Branstetter stated that he did not sell the tokens or abandon the project, but admitted to not transferring the tokens to a cold wallet in a timely manner. According to CoinGecko data, UFD is currently trading at $0.132 per token, down 5.1% in the past 24 hours, with a market capitalization of approximately $132 million.
