Trump: Agreed with Mexico President to Immediately Suspend Anticipated Tariffs for One Month

On February 3rd, according to market sources, Trump stated that he has reached an agreement with the President of Mexico to immediately suspend the expected tariffs for one month. In addition, Mexican President Xin Baomu revealed that he proposed a permanent suspension of tariffs to Trump, but both sides agreed to postpone it for one month. Trump also stated that negotiations led by US Secretary of State Rubio, Treasury Secretary Bei Sente, Commerce Secretary Lu Tenike, and Mexican officials will be held, and he looks forward to participating in these negotiations with Xin Baomu to strive for an agreement between the two countries.
