Data: Bitcoin network computing power increased by only 1% in January, and mining difficulty dropped by 2% month-on-month
According to a recent research report by JPMorgan, the average monthly computing power of the Bitcoin network in January increased slightly by 1% year-on-year to 785 EH/s, while mining difficulty decreased by 2% month-on-month. The report pointed out that the weekly average computing power at the end of the month was 781 EH/s, a 2% decrease from the end of December. Analysts say that this situation is relatively rare and is a mild positive for the Bitcoin mining economy. It is worth noting that the current network difficulty is still 25% higher than before the halving in April last year. In terms of earnings, in January, the average daily block reward income per EH/s for miners was $57,200, an increase of less than 1% from December.
