On February 6th, Pump.fun received a cease and desist order for allegedly using the logos and names of two law firms, which are currently suing the platform. Burwick Law, a US law firm, stated in a declaration on X platform that the company and Wolf Popper have issued a cease and desist order to Pump.fun, demanding the "immediate removal" of Dog Shit Going NoWhere (DOGSHIT2) and other tokens that "impersonate our company" by using intellectual property (including logos and names) without permission. Pump.fun claims that multiple users created tokens using various configurations of Burwick Law and Wolf Popper's names and logos. Some tokens also used the name and likeness of a Burwick Law employee and a client involved in the lawsuit against PumpFun.
