Solayer launches native SOL staking
ChainCatcher reports that Solayer has announced the launch of its native SOL staking feature, allowing users to directly earn an annual yield of approximately 12% without the need for LST (Liquidity Staking Tokens) or LRT (Liquidity Re-Staking Tokens).
Solayer states that its Mega Validator is the best-performing validation node on Solana, providing maximum returns for sSOL holders and all users. The staked SOL will be used to protect Solayer's infiniSVM, a hardware-accelerated blockchain capable of achieving one million TPS and earning additional rewards. According to official statements, the advantages of native staking include avoiding the accounting complexity of additional tokens, institutional-level security (no counterparty risk), and extra income from additional uses of SOL.
