Deutsche Bank: Bank of England could cut interest rates to 3.5% by year-end
the research department of Deutsche Bank predicts that the Bank of England will cut interest rates four more times by 2025, bringing the rate down to 3.50%. However, economist Sanjay Raja of the bank stated in a report that the Bank of England should keep the rate unchanged at 4.50% at its next decision on March 20. Raja said, "In our view, a 'gradual and cautious' approach is not conducive to consecutive rate cuts - especially in the case of overall CPI rising." LSEG data shows that the market expects a 92% chance that the Bank of England will keep rates unchanged in March, and that the Bank of England will cut rates twice more in 2025.
