BlackRock Global Allocation Fund increases BTC investment exposure through IBIT, holding value reaches $47.4 million
BlackRock's Global Allocation Fund, which manages approximately $15.8 billion in diversified assets, has increased its BTC investment exposure through the Bitcoin Exchange Traded Fund IBIT. According to the documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as of January 31, 2025, the fund held 821,664 shares of IBIT (valued at $47.4 million, accounting for 0.25% of the portfolio), compared to only 43,000 shares at the end of the first quarter of 2024, indicating that BlackRock's Global Allocation Fund's investment in Bitcoin continues to trend upwards.
