OpenAI tests adding watermark feature to ChatGPT-4o image model
April 7th news, according to BleepingComputer, OpenAI is testing the addition of a watermark feature for its ChatGPT-4o image generation model (ImageGen), or adding identifiers to images generated for free users. The model is now open to all users and supports high-quality image generation, including Ghibli-style works. It was reported that images generated by ChatGPT Plus subscribers will have no watermarks. In addition, OpenAI is developing an ImageGen API which will be opened up to developers in the future.
