US official: Time to moderate tariff language, Trump to decide if trade deal is superior enough
PANews, April 7 (Reuters) - It's time to moderate the (tariff) language as more than 50 countries are negotiating on tariffs, said Hassett, the director of the U.S. National Economic Council, Golden Ten reported. President Donald Trump is doubling down on a strategy that he knows works, and if trading partners offer a truly quality deal, President Trump will listen to them. Trump will decide if the trade deal is superior enough. Trump spoke with world leaders over the weekend.
