DePIN project Solix DePIN completes $29.5 million financing, led by Eclip Foundation , DePIN startup Solix announced the completion of a $29.5 million financing led by Eclip Foundation. This round of funds will be used to accelerate the development of its MODEL CONTEXT PROTOCOL (MCP) technology, which enables intelligent bandwidth sharing without affecting the user's Internet experience. Solix allows users to share idle bandwidth through browser extensions and receive rewards. It currently covers 63 countries around the world and processes an average of 275TB of data per day. Its MCP protocol dynamically allocates bandwidth through real-time contextual data, taking into account both network performance and user experience, and is considered an important technological breakthrough in the DePIN track.

Typically, strong upward legs driven by widespread excitement eventually end in steep price drops (historically sometimes over 80%-85% from the peak). Following these major drops, were the quieter periods where, dedicated long-term investors used to steadily keep buying, laying the groundwork for the next significant climb. Examples include the lows reached around $200 after 2013, near $3,000 after 2017, and around $16,000 following the 2021 peak. Importantly, this pullback has brought prices into zones where significant buying emerged in past cycles, potentially preparing the ground for the next upward trend. Bitcoin is currently trading near $85,050, working its way back up from recent lows of $74,436. On the 4-hour chart, the price has pushed above the descending trendline, now in the immediate overhead supply concentrated between $84,200 and $85,700. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits around 59.58, suggesting moderate buying energy present without the market being excessively overheated. Fibonacci retracement levels, for instance, offer clearer targets: $85,700 (0.786), $88,700 (1.0), and $97,600 (1.618), with potential upside to $111,900 (2.618) if the trend continuation is confirmed. A daily close above $88,000 stays as the critical threshold for bullish validation. On the downside, key support levels sit at $82,000, followed by $79,900 and $77,800. The market structure, coupled with on-chain indicators and historical cycle patterns, suggests Bitcoin may be entering a pressure build-up phase ahead of another expansion. However, confirmation will depend on volume, breakout strength above $88,000, and the sustained return of institutional buying. In order to address this problem, VeChain has teamed up with 4ocean, an organization dedicated to the removal of plastic waste from oceans and coastlines. To date, 40 million pounds of ocean trash have been removed by 4ocean. The partnership was officially launched in a beach cleanup in Miami that was also attended by the UFC Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The cleanup was utilized as a showcase for Cleanify dApp, a decentralized application that operates on the VeBetter ecosystem and VeChain’s blockchain network. Through this collaboration, all the trash collected from oceans, rivers, and coastlines will be tracked and verified on the blockchain with assured accurate records of environmental impact. Tokenized “Sustainability Proofs” will also be stored on-chain, providing immutable data to verify cleanup activities. In a recent interview with Paul Barron, Chainlink CEO Sergey Nazarov provided valuable insights regarding U.S. crypto regulations and the increasing influence tokenization exerts on the global financial system. Nazarov emphasized that the regulatory speed in the U.S. is accelerating under the Donald Trump administration and that this may have important consequences for crypto markets worldwide. During the interview, Nazarov acknowledged the challenges faced by regulators, stating, “People in D.C. are starting to understand this. The problem is that they’re moving quickly to catch up, which everyone in the United States and everyone interested in crypto should be very positive about because the U.S. is what’s known as a ‘super regulator’ that is followed by other regulators.” Nazarov highlighted that despite ongoing deglobalization trends, the U.S. remains a central force in financial regulation. During the discussion, Sergey also highlighted the effectiveness of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), which was launched at SmartCon 2024. CRE supports the free composition of smart contracts from various blockchains and Oracle networks with ease, and thus, tokenized financial products can easily be created in compliance with regulatory requirements. At press time, Chainlink’s native cryptocurrency, LINK, is priced at $12.32, up 10.57% in the past day but down 3.24% in the past seven days.
