Bitget P2P platform trading rules

Before conducting P2P transactions, please complete the following operations for your account as required:

1. Identity verification.

2. Link your email address to your account.

3. Link your phone number to your account.

4. Set a fund password.

5. For an active buy order, please complete payment within the specified time frame and click the "Paid" button. If you cancel an order or an order is automatically cancelled due to non-payment within the time limit, the system will record one cancellation. Accumulating 3 cancellations within the same day will result in a temporary restriction from placing further buy orders for that day.

6. If the system records that you cancel an order because the Seller did not provide a valid payment method, resulting in a restriction on buying for that day, you may contact Customer Support to have the restriction removed.

7. If an order is automatically cancelled because you did not click the "Paid" button after making payment, the Seller has the right to either continue or reject the transaction. If the Seller rejects the transaction, your funds will be refunded to your original payment account.

8. Do not click the "Paid" button unless the payment has been made and completed. Otherwise, this behavior will be considered malicious. If an appeal is filed for such an order, the Seller may reject the transaction. In severe cases, the system may freeze your account.

9. If you fail to complete the payment within the specified time frame and do not respond to the Seller, the Seller may reject the transaction if an appeal is filed for the order.

10. Use your real-name verified account (e.g., bank accounts or other payment accounts) for payment. If you use a non-real-name account or someone else's account, the Seller may reject the transaction and refund your payment if an appeal is filed.

11. Select an instant payment method to ensure the transaction can be completed in a timely manner.

12. If the Seller does not receive the funds 10 minutes after you click the "Paid" button, the Seller may reject the transaction if an appeal is filed for the order.

13. Verify the latest payment method supported by the Seller to ensure the Seller’s account information is accurate. If you do not transfer to the account designated in the order, you will assume fund security risk.

14. The digital assets for ongoing orders are locked on the Platform. If the Seller does not release the digital assets to you 10 minutes after you complete the payment and click the "Paid" button, you may file an appeal. As long as your actions comply with the rules, the Platform will determine that you are the rightful owner of the digital assets.

15. Avoid using sensitive words or phrases related to digital currency in the payment remarks field. This includes, but is not limited to, terms like USDT, BTC, Bitget, and cryptocurrency. Otherwise, the Seller may reject the transaction and refund your payment.

1. Carefully confirm your selling price. If an appeal arises due to the ad price, the Platform will determine that the Buyer is the rightful owner of the asset, as long as the Buyer has not violated any rules.

2. If an order is automatically canceled because the Buyer fails to click the "Paid" button after making the payment, the Seller has the right to either continue or reject the transaction. If you choose to reject the transaction, you should refund the Buyer’s payment to the original payment account.

3. You may file an appeal if you do not receive the payment within 10 minutes after the Buyer clicks the "Paid" button. Additionally, you may file an appeal, reject the transaction, and refund the payment in the following cases: the Buyer clicks the 'Paid' button before the payment is made or completed, the payment is not received within 2 hours, or the order is canceled after the payment is made.

4. Carefully verify that the real-name information on the Buyer’s payment account matches the information on the Platform when you receive the payment. In case of any inconsistency, the Seller has the right to request the Buyer/payer to conduct video KYC with their ID cards or passports, or other valid identification. If an appeal is filed to such an order, the Seller may reject the transaction and refund the payment. If a user accepts non-real-name verified payment, causing the counterparty’s payment account to be frozen, the Platform will investigate the source of the funds in question, and reserves the right to directly freeze the user’s account.

5. Release the crypto immediately after receiving the payment. If you fail to release the crypto within the specified time frame after the Buyer marks the order status as "Paid" in compliance with the rules, the Buyer has the right to request that the transaction not be conducted and a refund of the payment if an appeal is filed for the order. If you refuse to cooperate, the Platform will directly release the crypto to the Buyer and freeze your account.

6. Ensure you are available and responsive to manage orders when posting an ad so transactions can be completed promptly. If you cannot guarantee timely handling of orders, take your ads offline to avoid potential appeals or disputes.

Before posting a P2P transaction ad, please complete the following operations for your account as required:

1. Identity verification.

2. Link your email address to your account.

3. Link your phone number to your account.

4. Set a fund password.

5. Set a payment method.

6. If you will be away from your keyboard and unable to handle orders promptly, please take your ads offline in advance. If orders related to the ads are created, the orders should be treated as normal orders and processed according to the standard trading procedures.

7. For Buy ads, if you cancel three orders on the same day, the system will prohibit you from buying for the rest of the day and suspend auto-matching for all your ads until the next day.

8. The Seller should carefully verify that the real-name information on the Buyer’s payment account matches the information on the Platform upon receiving the payment. In case of any inconsistency, the Seller has the right to request the Buyer/payer to complete video KYC using their ID cards, passports, or other valid identification. If an appeal is filed to such an order, the Seller may reject the transaction and refund the payment. If a user accepts non-real-name verified payment, causing the counterparty’s payment account to be frozen, the Platform will investigate the source of the funds in question, and reserves the right to directly freeze the user’s account.

9. Private advertisements can only be shared via a link with any third-party individuals for placing order transactions. Trading activities and assets related to private advertisements are not subject to the platform's risk control measures or protection. Before proceeding with the transaction, negotiate and confirm the relevant trading conditions with the counterparty in advance. Engage in the transaction only after thoroughly understanding the associated risks. If you suspect fraudulent activity, contact our customer service immediately for verification.
