Google Launches Veo 2, Generating 8-Second Hyper-Realistic Videos

At 1 AM (UTC+8), Google's (GOOG.O) DeepMind finally integrated the long-anticipated Veo2 into the GeminiApp application, making it fully available for use. Veo2 can generate up to 8-second 720P cinematic quality videos and excels in camera movement, text semantic restoration, physical simulation, and motion consistency. It also supports the image-to-video function. According to test data released by Google, Veo2 has surpassed Sora, Keen 1.5, MetaMovieGen, and Minimax in terms of user preference and prompt restoration.
