OK, this might be a bit silly, but I used to play chess as a kid, but then in college people started to study openings and kick my ass. Then I started to play backgammon because then openings were less important. But recently I got into Chess a bit again. Mainly because there are not enough BG players in my area. Now here is the question: I have become extremely good at accepting my (bad)luck in BG, and I'm really calm about my blunders too, even when they are REAL blunders. But in chess I just cannot handle it. My errors are just so obvious that it hurts. How do I transfer my BG calmness to chess?
