  • EJF Ventures Fund LP under EJF Capital LLC, a global alternative asset management firm, successfully raised US$104 million in capital commitments which will be allocated to various areas, including blockchain infrastructure.
  • On-chain game studio Proof of Play completed a US$33 million seed round co-led by Greenoaks and a16z.
  • CoinScan, a crypto analytics platform, secured US$6.3 million in funding.
  • Essential, an intent-based crypto infrastructure company, closed a US$5.15 million seed round led by Maven11.

4.Regulatory Trends:

  • Three members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council jointly requested that the Hong Kong Finance Committee include the discussion of the JPEX incident in the agenda for October 9. Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee stated: "This incident highlights the importance that when investors want to invest in virtual assets, then they must invest on platforms that are licensed."
